Hot Springs Campground. Camping is permitted year-round. Winter snows may close the campground road periodically. During the summer there is an onsite camp host. The Hot Spring has been refurbished with a new enclosure for your safety and enjoyment, large enough to accommodate about six people at a time.
Conditions at the camping areas on Hart Mountain are primitive. Areas have pit toilets, two of which are handicap accessible. None of the campgrounds have any RV hook-ups, drinking water, firewood, or fire rings. There is drinking water available at June 19, 2008 basis, there are no reservations and no camping fees. At the poplular hot springs camping area there are 30 camping sites. You’re welcome to stay up to 14 days. Observe quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
