This site is located next to Elk Lake and offers opportunities for hiking on nearby trails. This campground has a group area that is a favorite of scout troops and church gatherings. It is also ideal for large family reunions. There is a boat launch adjacent to this campground.
There is a beach in the large day use area along with a boat ramp. There are 20 single sites that are all close to the water and a 12 site group area where campers can each camp in their own sites, but share a common area in the center of the group area. This group area is a favorite of scout troops and church gatherings. It is also ideal for large family reunions. The facility has two CXT toilets one is located in the group area and one next to site six. There is a pump for drinking water.
Fees: Per night, per site fee: $14/first vehicle; $7/each additional vehicle. Group site: $75. (2011).
