This quiet and cool forested campground provides an escape from the intense desert heat in the summer months. It is located near the Mill Creek Wilderness and gives campers opportunities to see old growth dependent species, such as the pileated woodpecker, and hike the Twin Pillars non-motorized trail. A trailhead is located adjacent to the campground providing access to Mill Creek Willderness and Twin Pillars Trail. Most of the campsites are flat, providing easy barrier-free access.

Directions: From Prineville: Travel 9 miles northeast on Highway 26 to Mill Creek Road (Forest Road 33). Turn left on Mill Creek Road and follow it approximately 10 miles to the campground sign.
