Kiahanie Campground is located in an old growth forest alongside the North Fork Wild and Scenic River. The North Fork is not stocked and therefore contains only native fish. It is designated for fly fishing only. The 20-mile drive along Aufderheide National Scenic Byway to Kiahanie Campground takes you through some rock and canyon-like areas. The campground itself is rarely crowded, providing a quiet, peaceful setting amongst enormous Douglas fir trees.
