Riverside Campground is along the Clackamas River in the Mt. Hood National Forest. This is a small rustic campground at about 1500 feet elevation. This is a charming little campground for the hiking enthusiast, the fly fisherman, nature enthusiast, bicyclist and white water river rafters.
The Clackamas River is a popular destination for white water river rafters. Every year the Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival is held along the river, bringing in rafters from all over the U.S.
Steelhead, Chinook and Coho Salmon in the wild scenic Clackamas River is a great place for the fly fisherman.
Riverside Campground is just a short distances from the famous Bagby Hot Springs, where you can enjoy some hiking and then some soaking in the natural hot springs.
