From Prineville Ranger Station:
Take Hwy 126 West approximately 1 mile
Turn Right on Combs Flat road
Stay Left as this turns into highway 380, proceed East approximately 53 miles
Turn Left onto Hwy 113 (Beaver Creek Rd) and proceed approximately 2 miles.
Stay Left/Straight at the junction of Hwy 113 which becomes FS 42 and Hwy 135.
Proceed approximately 5.5 miles and Salters Cabin will be on the Left side of the road.
From Rager Ranger Station
Take FS 58 West approximately 4.5 miles
Turn Right to head North on FS 42 and proceed approximately 1 mile
Salters Cabin will be on the Left side of the road.
