This site is operated as a dispersed campsite located along the Recreation portion of the Wild and Scenic Chetco River. Enjoy summer fun in the crystal clear waters of this outstanding river. A few shaded spots can be found along the tree line. This site also provides access to the Rainbow Creek Tent Rental.

Directions: From Brookings, turn off US Highway 101 onto the North Bank Chetco River Road (County Road 784). This becomes Forest Service Road 1376. Nook Bar is approximately 3 miles from the Forest boundary on Forest Service Road 1376.
