About: Lake in the Woods is a 4 acre man-made lake that is 8 feet at its deepest point. The trail cabin located on the site was built in 1907.

Directions: From the North Umpqua Ranger Station (16 miles east of Roseburg on State Highway 138), take Highway 138 1/4 mile west to Little River Road #17. Follow Little River Road for 20 miles, at which point it becomes Forest Service Road 27 and is gravel. Continue another 7 miles to the campground.
