About: Fletcher View Campground is set in an open forest of Ponderosa pines, Mountain Mahogany, and Gambel oak, paralleling the creek bed and highway, just 28 miles from Las Vegas. Most sites have beautiful views of the towering canyon wall. The 1.6-mile Fletcher Canyon Trail begins nearby. A paved nature trail connects to Kyle Canyon Visitor Center with guided hikes, and educational and interpretive programs.
This campground contains several single and double-family sites, all of which have electrical hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Flush toilets, showers, and potable water are provided in this recently updated campground. Roads and parking spurs are paved.
The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area is a beautiful island in the desert, brimming with breathtaking scenery, desert plants, and diverse wildlife. Over 100 springs create the namesake for the mountain range. It’s the perfect place to escape the heat of the city for cool mountain air. 60+ miles of hiking and horse trails crisscross the area; two trails allow mountain biking. Rock climbing, picnicking, and scenic driving are popular activities.
