About: Kyle Canyon Campground is located about 23 miles from Las Vegas, nestled along a creek on the canyon floor, paralleling the highway. Ponderosa pines, Mountain Mahogany, and Gambel oaks forest the site, providing nice shade. Manzanita and wild roses dot the area. Most sites have beautiful views of the towering canyon wall. The 1.6-mile Fletcher Canyon Trail begins nearby. Kyle Canyon Visitor Center is just up the road, offering guided hikes, and educational and interpretive programs.

This campground contains several single and double-family sites, four of which are ADA-accessible, each with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Vault toilets and potable water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved.

The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area is a beautiful “island in the desert”, brimming with breathtaking scenery, desert plants, and diverse wildlife. Over 100 springs create the namesake for the mountain range. It’s the perfect place to escape the heat of the city for cool mountain air. 60+ miles of hiking and horse trails crisscross the area; two trails allow mountain biking. Rock climbing, picnicking, and scenic driving are popular activities.
