About: Peaceful Valley campground is located approximately 24 miles south of Estes Park, Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park. It is adjacent to the Middle Saint Vrain Creek and near the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. The campground is situated in a generally flat glacial valley with a mixed conifer and aspen forest. There are 17 sites that will accommodate tents, campers, trailers, and RVs.

Fees: Campsite fees are $17 per night. Oversized sites are $20 per night. Fees are half-price when the water system is off. Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age and Golden Access passes provide cardholders a 50% discount on campground fees. Reservations are accepted up to four days prior to arrival and cost an additional $10 per reservation by phone or $9 for reservat (2011)

Restrictions: Pets must be on a hand-held leash at all times. A maximum of eight people are allowed per site, except unit 17, which can accommodate up to 12 people. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Fishing is permitted in accordance with regulations established by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Directions: Approximately 6.5 miles north of Ward, Colorado, on Colorado Highway 72, watch for signs for Peaceful Valley and Camp Dick Campgrounds. Turn west onto Middle Saint Vrain Road (County Road 92 and National Forest System Road 114) and proceed approximately 1/4 mile to Peaceful Valley Campground.
