About: Angel of Shavano campground is one of the areas best kept secrets. The campground is small with only 20 campsites but offers visitors a quiet atmosphere to gather with family and friends. The campsites are wooded with aspen and spruce trees. A few of the campsites are located along the stream.

Directions: To get to this campground, travel west on Highway 50 (from the junction of Hwys 50/285) for 6 miles. As you approach the town of Maysville, you will drive down a small hill and an old yellow Victorian style house will be located on the right. Slow down and watch for County Road 240 on the right. Turn onto CR 240 and travel for 3 miles to the campground. The group campground is located on the left side of the road. Continue past the group area to the main entrance for Angel of Shavano campground.
