About: This small RV campground sits at 8,800 feet and is located in the Wet Mountains in San Isabel National Forest, Southern Colorado. It is one of three campgrounds within the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. The road around the campground is paved. This campground is suitable for RVs less than 30 feet, with no large slide-outs and requires no hook-ups. Not desirable for tents. Sites are close to Lake Isabel, which was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930s.

Directions: From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the south entrance at Lake Isabel, go ½ mile and look for the Southside campground signs.
