About: Six Mile Gap Campground is located 2 miles from Highway 230 and provides access to the North Platte River in the Platte River Wilderness. The trailhead located in the campground is a popular access point for float boaters, anglers, and hikers. Campground facilities include: Picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, fire grates, refuse receptacles, and trailhead parking. 14 day stay limit. Popular activities near this campground include floating the North Platte River or hiking the Platte River Trail. Fishing can be excellent on the North Platte and additional fishing opportunities can be found nearby on Big Creek.
