About: The campground has 18 sites among Aspen and mixed conifers, adjacent to the Conejos River.Gold Medal trout fishing (fly-fishing only) in the Conejos River. Hiking on numerous area trails. The campground, among Aspen and mixed conifer trees, with some sites overlooking the river. It is convenient to several trails, the resort community of Platoro and the Platoro Reservoir.

Directions: From Antonito, CO, take US 285 south 0.3 miles to Hwy 17. Continue straight on Hwy17 and go 21.9 miles to Platoro sign (Forest Rd. 250). Turn right at sign onto Rd. 250 (dirt) and go 17.5 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
