About: Lost Lake Campground is a great place for families to camp. Kids and parents alike will enjoy fishing and hiking around Lost Lake, Dollar Lake and Lost Lake Slough. Beckwith Pass provides breathtaking vistas of the Ruby Mountain Range. The wildflowers in this region are phenomenal during mid-July and early August. Because of the late spring in 2011 the Columbine, which is the state flower of Colorado, is in full bloom, spectacular and numerous!

Closest Town: Paonia, CO

Directions: Travel 16 miles east of Paonia, CO on Highway 133. Turn right onto Gunnison County Road 12 (Kebler Pass Road) and continue east for another 16 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road #706 and go another 2 miles to the end at Lost Lake Campground.

Travel west from Crested Butte, CO on Gunnison County Road 12 (Kebler Pass Road) for approximately 16 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #706 and go another 2 miles to the end at Lost Lake Campground.
