About: This 28 unit campground provides an excellent “close-to-the-trailhead” location to camp as a jumping off point for adventures in the McGee Canyon area or as a pleasant sunny location for family camping. Each campsite has a shade pavillion as there are few trees here. The campgound is 2 miles from the trailhead and 4 miles from Crowley Lake.

Restrictions: Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 14 days. This is Bear Country. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended. Always keep a clean camp and do not feed animals, squirrels and rodents.

Directions: From Mammoth Lakesgo south on US 395 for approximately 8 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left. Or, from Bishop go north on US 395 for about 37 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left.
