About: The campsites at Rock Creek Lake sit on a low hill overlooking the lake with great views and a few trees. This 28 unit campground is a perfect location for limitless mountain recreation opportunities including fishing, camping, hiking and horseback riding at the nearby pack station.

Restrictions: Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 7 days. This is Bear Country. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended. Always keep a clean camp and do not feed animals, squirrels and rodents. Fires permitted only in fireplaces provided.

Directions: Directions from Mammoth Lakes: Drive south on US 395 for approximately 13 miles. Take the Tom’s Place turnoff and proceed west up the canyon for about ten miles. Directions from Bishop: Travel north on US 395 for about 30 miles, turn left at the Tom’s Place turnoff then proceed west up the canyon for about ten miles.
