About: Hat Creek Campground is located 1 mile west of the town of Old Station, and 12 miles east of the NW entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Hat Creek Campground is situated in a mixed coniferous forest, adjacent to Hat Creek at elevation 4,390 feet. Temperatures May through June are 40-80 degrees; July through August 45-90 degrees. Stream fishing in Hat Creek nearby contains trophy trout. The fun and adventurous Subway Cave is near the campground.
