About: This is near the site of an historic guard station. The guard station, which is essentially a cabin, has been restored by the Forest Service and is part of the Lookouts and Cabins Rental Program. This camp is very popular with hunters in the fall hunting season.

Directions: From the McCloud Ranger Station, turn left on SR 89. Go approximately 17 miles to the turnoff for Medicine Lake. Turn left onto Forest road 15 and drive approximately 17 miles to Harris Springs. The campground is on the right side of the road.
