About: There are three Yurts located at the Lakeshore East campground. What is a Yurt? The Yurt is a modern adaptation of the ancient shelter used by Central Asian nomads for centuries. Though generally classified as a tent, the yurt is much stronger and weather tight. One of the Yurts has an accessible ramp.

Directions: Located one mile west of I-5 on lakeshore Drive within the community of Lakehead. From I 5, take exit 702 Antlers Road/ Lakeshore Drive exit. Turn left at end of off ramp. Turn left at stop sign junction. Follow Lakeshore drive about 1.3 miles to the Lakeshore East Campground sign, turn left on to campground road.
