About: This facility is used on an “as needed basis” by the Shasta Recreation Company (Concessionaire to the Forest Service). There are 8 camping sites that can accomodate a trailer with an average max. size of 16′. All sites have a picnic table, campfire ring, and an unpaved parking spur.

Directions: Located 9 miles east of Shasta lake City. From I-5, exit, 687. Turn right and follow Old Oregon trail for three miles. Turn left on to Bear Mountain Road and travel eight and a half miles to the junction of Dry Creek road. At the stop sign turn left and follow road about two miles to the Upper Jones Valley campground sign. Turn right on to campground road.
