About: The campground is a single loop through a stand of mature Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir. There are single, double, triple, and quad sites. It is a “multi-group” campground. The quad site has four aprons and is available for four single families if not reserved; two parking aprons have electric and water hookups. Both the double and triple campsites have a single pull-through parking apron and one electric and water hookup each. Pine needle and grass understory and no middlestory, provide little privacy. Trinity Lake and boat ramp are 0.7 miles from campground.

Directions: On Highway 3, 16.5 miles north of Weaverville and 14 miles south of Trinity Center. Look for the directional sign to Minersville and Bushytail Campgrounds. Located half mile from Trinity Lake.
