About: The Chilkoot Campground is located in an area with Dougleas Fir and Cedar trees that provide good shade. Some sites are located on slopes and are not suitable for tents. This is Bear Country. Please store food properly and don’t feed the bears.

Directions: Take Hwy 41 north to Oakhurst. Continue thru Oakhurst to Road 222. Turn right on Road 222; travel approximately 4 miles to the intersection of 222 & Road 274 (Beasore Road). Continue North on Beasore Road 5 miles, turn left at road sign 5S07V and follow to campground.
