About: Located eleven miles east of Cedar City, Utah, Cedar Canyon Campground is situated next to Crow Creek at an elevation of 8,100 feet and is forested, with shade in most units. Cedar Canyon is conveniently close to Cedar City, Cedar Breaks National Monument, and the 34-mile Virgin River Rim Trail open to hiking, mountain biking, and horses. A network of trails in the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness is close by also. Roads and spurs are paved. Firewood is sold by the bundle, and may be purchased from the camp host. Culinary water is piped from a spring. Two vault toilet restrooms are provided. No showers. No hookups for RVs. Other nearby attractions include Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park.
