About: Shirttail Creek Campground is located on the north west shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir, this campground is set in a cedar and pine forest overlooking the reservoir. It is near the North Fork of the American River with access to trails, OHV riding and swimming.

Directions: From I-80: Take the Foresthill Road exit for 17 miles to the town of Foresthill. Continue on the road for 9 miles to Sugar Pine Road. Turn left and continue on Sugar Pine Road for 9 miles and take a right on the first road after the Sugar Pine Recreation Area sign. Travel 1 1/2 miles to the campground.
