About: Jackson Point Campground is a boat-in only campground located on the east side of Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Jackson Meadow Reservoir is a gorgeous high elevation lake with good fishing. Part of the Pacific Crest Trail cross on the east side of the reservoir. Snow pack determines when the campground opens.

Directions:
From Bowman Lake: Continue on Bowman Lake Road until you reach the south shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir (about 5 miles on a rough road). Continue on to Pass Creek Campground and boat in.
From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89. Turn left at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is 1/2 mile south west of Pass Creek Boat Ramp by boat access only.
From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89. Turn right at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is 1/2 mile south west of Pass Creek Boat Ramp by boat access only.
