About: 9200 foot elevation. 20 camp sites in an aspen grove. A group area accomodates up to 50 campers, and a small cabin sleeps up to 4. Expansive vistas of the entire Canyonlands region. This site is particularly attractive in fall. Fishing for rainbow trout in the lake and hiking on the extensive trail system accessed from the trailhead at the campground (below), or on the Trans-Mountain Trail. Signs offer information about the area. No powerboats on Warner Lake. This site is convenient for day trips to Arches and Canyonlands. Hiking information: Miners Basin Foot Trail (foot) – 2 miles Warner Lake-Oowah Lake Trail (foot) – 2 miles Burro Pass Trail (foot) – 4 miles Dry Fork-Beaver Basin Trail (foot) – 5 miles

Directions: From Moab, go south on US 191 to Ken’s Lake/ La Sal Mountain Loop Road. Turn left, following signs for La Sal Mountain Loop Road to the end of the pavement. Go past Oowah Lake and turn right then continue to Warner Lake. Turn right and follow the gravel road to the campground.
