About: Joes Valley Reservoir Campground is located in a high mountain valley adjacent to and just above Joes Valley Reservoir at an elevation of 7,000 feet. The reservoir is visible from several sites and offers good fishing for cutthroat, rainbow trout, and trophy splake. Boating, water skiing, and canoeing are popular on the lake, a boat ramp is within the facility,

Water: The spring supplying drinking water to this site dried up in the fall of 2010. Efforts are being made to restore drinking water, but restoring water service depends entirely on flows returning to the spring collection system. Be advised that drinking water may not be available for part or all of the 2011 camping season.

Closest Towns: Orangeville, Utah
Directions: Travel on State Road 10 to the junction with State Road 29. Turn on to SR-29 and follow it west to Orangeville where there is a Y-junction. Take the right turn and continue on SR-29 to Joes Valley. The road is paved, but narrow and twisty. It is heavily used by climbers and fishers, so watch for pedestrians and vehicles parked on the shoulders.
