About: Cherry Campground is located on the banks of pretty Hobble Creek just 6 miles from Springville, Utah, elevation 5,200 feet. Maple and cottonwood trees forest the area, providing ample shade and some seclusion.

This campground contains four tent-only group sites, three of which accommodate up to 75 people each, one can fit up to 50 people. Group Sites A & B are ADA accessible. Sites provide large picnic tables, serving tables, a fire ring with benches, a water spigot, cement site pads, and large grassy areas for tents. Single and double-family sites are available, with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets are provided, but no garbage service. This is a âpack it in, pack it outâ site; campers must bring their own trash bags. A campground host is onsite; roads and parking spurs are paved.

Rainbow trout fishing is popular on Hobble Creek. Several hiking, biking, and horse trails are in the area, including Left Fork Days Canyon Trail and Kirkman Hollow Trail, which are also open to dirt bikes. Dry Canyon and Wardsworth Canyon Trails begin near Balsam Campground, six miles up-canyon. Hobble Creek Canyon Road offers scenic driving for 4WD vehicles above Balsam Campground. Hobble Creek Golf Course is nearby.

Directions: From I-15 take exit 260 into Springville. Continue going east through intersection of Main Street and Highway 400 South. There is an awkward 4-way stop at the end of 400 south. Turn right at the stop sign onto Canyon Road. Keep heading east up Canyon Road for about 6 miles, you will pass the Hobble Creek Golf Course. After passing the Hobble Creek Golf Course the road will fork, stay to the right. Cherry Campground is approximately 1 mile from the golf course past the junction of Forest Service Roads 132 and 058.
