About: This family campground is located in an area with tall pines, oaks and cedar trees. Crab Flats has 29 sites with a space length of 15 feet. Off-road vehicle trails are nearby. Green Valley Lake is approximately six miles away. There is no overflow parking. No large RVs. This campground is for off-road vehicle oriented camping.

Restrictions: 3 night minimum for holiday weekends. Maximum 2 vehicles per site, depending on spur length (no other extra vehicles allowed). A fee for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. Due to washouts (potholes) access road to the campground is very narrow and may not accept large RV’S. Camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. This campground is a staging area for ATV/OHV’s. Driving Alert – Crab Flats is accessed via a 4 mile dirt road which was graded this spring. There is a shallow creek crossing near the campground. Trailers, 5th Wheels and Motorhomes over 28 feet not recommended.

Directions: Take Freeway to 330 North. Go through Running Springs and Arrowbear, CA, to Green Valley Road. Turn left, go approximately 4 miles to Crab Flats Campground sign at Forest Service dirt road. Turn left and go 4-1/2 miles to the campground.
