About: This campground is in the ponderosa pines. The campground is approximately 3/4 of a mile from Woods Canyon Lake which offers boating (electric motors only) and fishing opportunities. The Rim Lakes Vista Trail which provides spectacular views of the Mogollon Rim is approximately 1/4 mile away.

Directions: Directions from Heber: Travel 25 miles west on State Highway 260. Turn Right onto FR 300 which is located directly across from the Rim Visitor Information Station. Travel about four miles north of State Highway 260 toward Woods Canyon Lake on Forest Road 300 turn Right onto FR 105 toward Woods Canyon. Watch for signs for Crook Campground.
From Payson: Travel approximately 30 miles east on State Highway 260. When you top out on the rim, take the first Left onto FR 300 (located directly across the highway from the Rim Visitor Information Station) Travel about four miles north on the 300 Road. Turn Right onto FR 105 toward Woods Canyon Lake. Watch for signs for Crook Campground.
