About: Little Elden Springs Horse Camp is a place for people who love horses and open spaces. It is a special place created exclusively for those individuals who enjoy riding their horse through beautiful country. The Horse Camp has been designed with the special needs of the horse-camper in mind. Each of the fifteen sites allows easy access for trucks pulling horse trailers. The campground sits near the base of Mount Elden in a beautiful grove of Ponderosa Pine and Gamble Oak. A trail connects the camp to a system of riding trails on the mountain, but also is within easy access of many areas on the Forest that can be enjoyed by horse riders.

Directions: Drive 5 miles northeast of Flagstaff on US 89. Turn west (left) on FR 556 and drive 2 miles to FR 556A. Turn north (right) and continue to the campground.
