About: 5 miles from town of Summerhaven. Ponderosa pine forest. Elelvation 8000 ft. Gas 26 mi. Public phone 2 mi. at Palisades Visitor center. Hiking trails nearby. Potable water, electricity available at each ramada *(a ramada is a primitive shelter)* Trash service, vault toilets available. Group sites only, day or overnight use. Small RVs may park in parking lot. RVs not allowed to hook up to water or electric.
