About: Located one mile north of Payson, Arizona. Restrooms and showers are provided. There is a fourteen day stay limit within any thirty day period. Interpretive trails are nearby. These are single family camping units only. No hook-ups available. Horse camping facilities available across the road from the family campground. Must have horses or mules to camp at the horse facility (Mule Deer Loop).

Directions: This site is located 2 miles north of Payson at the junction of State Hwy. 87 and the Houston Mesa Road/Forest Road (FR 199). Turn east on Houston Mesa Rd. and travel ¼ mile to the campground located on the north side of the road. Houston Mesa Horse Campground is located on the south side of the road.
