Directions: The Falls is located on Forest Road 487 (FR 487). FR 487 is approximately 22 miles north of the junction of State Hwy 288 and State Hwy 188. Take Hwy 288 at the junction and continue north. From State Hwy 260, FR 487 is approximately 50 miles from the junction of Hwy 260 and Forest Road 512 (Young Hwy). Take FR 512 at the junction.
At Young, FR 512 becomes State Hwy 288. Follow Hwy 288 to FR 487. The Falls Recreation Site is the third site along FR 487. Follow 487 approximately 2.5 miles to the Falls. FR 487 continues beyond the Falls for about 2 miles to the Aztec Peak Lookout Tower. A high-clearance vehicle is advised for travel above the Falls Recreation Site.
