About: Hot Springs Campground lies along the Banks-Lowman Highway, next to the South Fork of the Payette River. The campground is named for the nearby hot springs and is heavily used by float boaters using the South Fork. The area is characterized by old growth ponderosa pine. Units have paved parking and can accommodate medium to large RVs up to a length of 35 feet.
Group sites have large serving tables and large grills. The group sites can accommodate up to 300 people. This campground has 8 family units and 3 group sites. Drinking water is available from a deep well, pressurized water system, with 4 hydrants. Two double vault type toilets are located within the campground. All units have tables, grills and fire pits.
This campground is on the fee system. There is one campground fee collection site. This site consists of a bulletin board, interpretive displays, fee envelopes and a collection box (steel tube).There is a campground manager at the site throughout the season.

Directions: Hot Springs Campground is located in southwestern Idaho, 52 miles north of Boise. Take State Highway 55 north to Banks (35 miles). Turn east on the Banks/Lowman Highway. From Banks drive 17 miles to the campground. Watch for recreation signs.
