About: Grayback Gulch campground has 16 single sites, two double sites, and two group sites in a ponderosa pine forest. The double sites accommodate up to 15 campers, and group sites can hold 100 and 150 people, respectively. A historic mining town is 2 miles away. Swimming is one mile away; dump station is 3 miles. Nearby Idaho City was once the largest town in Idaho, during a major gold rush in the area.
