About: Barneys Campground is located at the east side of the Deadwood Reservoir where the Deadwood River flows into the reservoir. Use is very high during the early fishing season and summer months. Access to the campground is normally not available until June. No trash service – pack it in, pack it out!!! (Driveway lengths for RV’s range from 15-50 feet. However, the campground is not specifically designed for RV use, so large trailers and RVs will have difficulty navigating through the campground. A campground host visits site daily during the summer months.)

Directions: From Boise, Idaho, take State Highway 55 North. At Banks, take Highway 17 East (Banks-Lowman Highway) to Lowman. Turn left on Highway 21. Continue along Highway 17 over Banner Summit. Turn West on Forest Road 579. Continue on Forest Road 579 to Deadwood Resevoir. Barneys Campground is on the Northeast side of the Reservoir. Alternate routes available.
