About: Cozy Cove campground is located on the south end of Deadwood Reservoir on the Lowman RD. This busy campground is situated on the shore of the reservoir in a dense lodgepole pine forest. A spectacular view of Wild Buck Peak can be seen from the campground. Use is very heavy throughout the summer. Access to the campground is normally not available until June. No trash service, pack it in, pack it out!!! (Driveway lengths range from 25-40 feet. However, this campground is not specifically designed for RV use, so larger trailers and RV’s will have difficulty navigating through the campground. A campground host visits site daily during the summer months.)

Directions: From Boise, Idaho, take State Highway 55 North. At Banks, take Highway 17 East (Banks-Lowman Highway) to Lowman. Turn left on Highway 21. Continue along Highway 17 over Banner Summit. Turn West on Forest Road 579. Continue on Forest Road 579 to Deadwood Resevoir. Cozy Cove Campground is on the Southeast end of the Reservoir. Alternate routes available.
