About: Malad Summit Campground is north of Malad City, ID. It is open May through October. It offers 9 single units, 2 double units with 1 group site (group reservations required). Water and restrooms are available. It’s a good spot for hiking and fishing or if you want to ride horses, it’s a great location to unload horses.
Fees: Single family units are $10.00, two family units are $20.00 per night. Group site is $50 per night. (2011)

Directions: Take exit 22 (Devil Creek Reservoir) off I-15, 11 miles north of Malad, Idaho. Go north on old highway 191 3.2 miles (paved road), turn west and cross over the interstate on Forest Service road #041 and go 3.1 miles (good graveled road) to Malad Summit Campground. Turn left into campground. Motor homes can make it OK.
