About: Mokins Bay Campground, located near the eastern shore of Hayden Lake, is 22 miles from Coeur d’Alene. It has 15 campsites including a host site. Campground roads and campsite parking spurs are paved. Amenities include a host site with electrical and telephone hookup and a 500-gallon dump vault, potable water well with a hand pump, culvert lined pit toilets, and a horseshoe pit. Minimum operating season is Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Directions: From Interstate 90 in Coeur d’Alene, go north on US Hwy 95 for 6 miles, turn east on Lancaster Road, go 5 miles (paved), and then 11 miles around Hayden Lake to Mokins Bay, turn east at “Public Camp” sign and go 200′ to campground.
