About: This campground is located on the shores of Hazard Lake, and is a high mountain lake, elevation 7060 feet. The entire campground was remodeled with new accessibile facilites in 2005, but it does not have any RV hook- ups available. The lake is a “no wake” lake, with row boats and canoes being the most popular way to get around for fishing and scenic viewing. There are several wonderful hiking trails leaving from the lake area. This campground is located approximately 27 miles from the town of McCall, over 20 miles of which are graveled road.First come first serve units also available. No hook-ups.

Directions: Hazard Campground is a small campground located on the shores of HazardLake, 27 miles from the town of McCall, Idaho. From McCall, take highway55 north toward New Meadows. Four miles from Mcall on Highway 55, takethe turn off the highway on Forest road 257 to Brundage Mountain Ski Area.There is a large sign on the highway with directions to Brundage Ski Area,Goose Lake and Hazard Lake. Travel up 257, past the ski area, where theroad then turns to gravel, travel past Goose Lake, up to Harard Lake.The road is graveled and narrow in places.
