About: This rustic campground has outhouses, tables, and fire rings; however it does not have drinking water or garbage cans. Please only use these facilities that are provided, do not make additional fire rings, tent pads or cat holes. The 5 sites were designed for tents, but all of the sites have parking spurs longer than 21 feet and are suitable for RV use.

There is no fee for camping at Kawishiwi Lake; sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Please remember to leave your campsite cleaner than you found it, pack out all your waste. Kawishiwi Lake is within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. When paddling on this lake, a permit is always required. If traveling for the day, you can use a self issued permit found at any Ranger District office or at the canoe landing.
