Larger than usual sites, with large shade trees and with average winter temperatures in January at 70 degrees, the coldest time of the year. The Park is 35 miles to South Padre Island, on the Gulf of Mexico, with miles of white sandy beaches and miles of restaurants. We are located 5 to 10 minutes to Walmart, Sears, JC Penny, Big Lots, Target. Kohl, Marshall and a HEB grocery store, to mention a few.
