Sundowner is a quaint RV and Park Model Village nestled in the beautiful Western NC mountains on 14 acres next to Lake Chatuge. Our village is designed exclusively for the adult camper (55+) as we are a haven for peace, quiet and tranquility to escape from the many demands of our busy lives. The mountains are our playground and we are centrally located to everything including golf courses, water activities, hiking, winding roads for the driving enthusiasts as well as folk art, antiques and casinos.
From Asheville: Take US-74 W to US-64 W to Hayesville. Turn left onto NC-69 and travel 3 miles turn left onto McDonald Road. Sundowner will be on the left.
From Atlanta: Take I-75 W to 575 N to 76 N to 17 N to 69 N. Turn right onto McDonald Rd. Sundowner will be on left.
From Chattanooga: Take I-24 N to I-75 N. Take US-64 BYP E then take US-64 E to Hayesville. Turn right onto NC-69. Travel 3 miles turn left onto McDonald Rd. Sundowner will be on left.
